Swissroc Asset Management SA (“SRAM”) is delighted to announce a significant milestone in redevelopment of a prime real estate asset, ideally located near the Quai des Bergues at Rue Arnold Winkelried 6 in Geneva. Acquired in December 2023 on behalf of a client, this approximately 1,200 m² building is set for an ambitious strategic repositioning.
With the construction permit now secured, SRAM is set to undertake extensive renovations to convert this former office building into a next-generation hospitality establishment. The property will feature around thirty hotel units spread across five floors, with an opening planned between late 2026 and early 2027.
In addition to the change of use, the project places a strong emphasis on energy efficiency. The goal is to attain Minergie Renovation, an environmental certification that underscores SRAM’s commitment to sustainability and Switzerland’s climate goals.
